Prana is a Sanskrit word that is commonly translated as “breath”, “life force”, “spirit”, “energy”, referring to the mystery that sustains all of life. This class is a creative form of vinyasa that fuses several styles of yoga asana that explores movement cultivated in the moment to work with the needs of the student and the energy of the day. We work with the prana vayus (contraction, expansion, grounding, and lifting forces) to make the asana as potent as possible. Prana vinyasa classes are kept between 75-85 degrees.
Hot Yoga

Hot Yoga is a fun, challenging and engaging yoga series that provides a total body workout. This class consists of a set series of poses that focuses on balance and spinal strength in a studio heated to around 110-120 degrees. Hot Yoga balances the body and its major systems (respiratory, circulatory, muscular, digestive, excretory, nervous, and endocrine), rejuvenating and restoring overall health. The heat creates a safe environment for stretching the body and gently promotes the detoxifying process.
Detox Flow Yoga Workshop
This Detox Flow Workshop has been specifically designed to rid the body, mind, and spirit of accumulated toxins so that we are creating the groundwork to achieve our highest potential.
In this Detox Flow class, we will practice:
- Breathing techniques to help cleanse our physical and energetic body.
- Meditation techniques to let go of stagnant and unhealthy mental patterns.
- A strong flow with very specific sequencing to cleanse the internal organs relieving bloating, fatigue, dull/problem skin, anxiety, irritability and other physical ailments due to toxins accumulated through food, alcohol, caffeine, sugar, household chemicals and other environmental toxins.
- A guided relaxation designed to clear and balance the chakras.
The room will be gently heated (90 degrees) to facilitate the detoxification process. Beginners are welcome, but at least a few yoga classes is helpful. Come hydrated and on an empty belly.

Bikram® Yoga Workshop

Is it time to take your practice to the next level? In this weekend workshop especially for intermediate practitioners, we will go through each Bikram® posture in detail, discussing essentials of alignment and breathing. The emphasis will be on individual adjustments and questions, along with ways to deepen your yoga practice. This workshop is appropriate for regular practitioners with a minimum of six months experience. (Instructor approval required at sign-up).
